Welcome to ACTS!
We welcome you to explore our Website, so that you may learn more about what we are doing to help fight the effects of the HIV/AIDS virus on the Masoyi community.
Our Goal
We aim to provide a quality continuum of care and support to all those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in the Masoyi Tribal Area of Mpumalanga, South Africa.
Why are we here?
We are a non-denominational Christian-based community project in the Masoyi and Northern Nzikazi areas, close to White River, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa. We strive to provide a continuum of quality care and support to those infected, and affected, by HIV/AIDS, and to model this in the Masoyi area. Aids-related care is carried out through our outpatient clinic, which is now seeing in excess of 3,000 patients a month.
In addition, we run a community In-Patient Unit (IPU) with eleven beds, operating 24 hours a day. A home-based care team, consisting of a primary health care trained nurse and a community-care giver, see pateints that are unable to visit the Clinic.
Please view our page What We Do! to see all the other facets of HIV/AIDS care that we cover.
Read more extensively on how we work in the article Acts Vision of Quality Care.
We base our work on the words of Jesus in John 10:10, "I have come in order that you might have life..."
